Iterchimica supporting partner of the exhibition dedicated to Velázquez in Carrara

The Road of Art continues: Iterchimica supports the exhibition dedicated to Velázquez in Carrara.

The Portrait of Queen Maria Anna of Austria arrives in Carrara from the Prado in Madrid, one of the last masterpieces of the master of masters Velázquez (1599-1660).

The new appointment in the series of the great protagonists of European painting is dedicated to Diego
Rodriguez de Silva (Seville 1599 – Madrid 1660), known as Velázquez.
The painter's prodigious rise led him to be appointed royal painter at just twenty-four years old.
Velázquez will prevail over other Spanish artists and will profoundly transform the artistic taste of
Madrid court.

The exhibition will be open from 16 June to 28 August.
