The latest issue of Strade & Autostrade magazine features the article “Asphalts for pothole patching and Green Deal” written by Eng. Loretta Venturini in collaboration with Sapienza University of Rome and the Italian Association of Road Safety Professionals (AIPSS).
Potholes are one of the greatest danger to road users and are often the cause of potential damages to vehicles.
This article describes the studies carried out as part of the InfraROB project, a European research aimed at increasing the safety of workers and road users in presence of road maintenance sites.
Among the mixtures analyzed, the most suitable to be used with a 3D printer was found to be the one composed of 100% RAP rejuvenated with Iterlene ACF 1000 HP Green.
