The ecological emulsions developed by Iterchimica make it possible to protect and consolidate the “special roads” using pre-existing materials (local grits). Since the cold laying eliminates the emission of harmful fumes, these emulsions are used in contexts in which the least possible environmental impact is required, such as consortium and rural roads, parks and green areas. The result is a waterproofed floor, protected from the weather, environmentally friendly and perfectly integrated with the surrounding landscape. The products were used for the treatment of a rural road in the Costa degli Etruschi area, Tuscany.
