The pavement of the parking lot features an eco-active asphalt treated with Itertio2, a product composed of a mixture of titanium dioxides dispersed in silicone resins in aqueous suspension. This antismog additive activates a process that reduces the pollutants in the atmosphere (for example nitrogen oxides – NOx) thanks to a photocatalytic action that takes advantage of solar energy, making it possible to transform road surfaces into a sort of “antismog reactor”. The result is a considerable reduction of the environmental impacts related to urban air pollution.
