Since 1967 Iterchimica has been developing and supplying high-tech products for highly performing and sustainable asphalt pavements. The company is strongly customer-oriented and offers assistance and exchange of know-how both during the identification of needs and during construction, even directly on site. The production of hi-tech additives it is the result of more than 50 years of experience in the sector.
The innovations developed and tested in our laboratories are designed to satisfy the needs of each technical intervention, respecting the uniqueness of the place and the area of use. Iterchimica combines high quality products with a high level of services it offers, which include: specialized support and technical assistance from design to construction and laying of asphalt pavements.
The team of experts is available to offer assistance and advice on the application of the products and the method of use, both during the design and during the final checks. Our qualified technicians work to ensure that the asphalt pavement reaches maximum performance, always recommending the best possible technical and economic solution. The Iterchimica laboratories have recently been modernized and implemented with the latest generation machinery and cutting-edge equipment for testing chemical materials and additives. In the technological laboratory, a team of experts is constantly committed to developing new solutions and carrying out dynamic tests, simulating different atmospheric and vehicular traffic conditions.

The researchers and technicians of the chemical laboratory are engaged daily in the development of new products and technologies. In the last decade they have indeed been recognized three patents (2 products and 1 process) and an application for a further patent has been filed. The chemical laboratory is not only the place where new ideas germinate but, thanks to advanced instrumentation, this company area also deals with a accurate quality control system and CE marking of the products.
The cutting-edge instruments used for chemical-physical checks are for example: spectroscopy, IR, DSC and MFI. The experience accumulated in this field has allowed Iterchimica to take on highly prestigious positions in national and international working groups.
The formal commitment towards continuous innovation is concretized through the definition of a specific Research and Development department which deals with the development of new products on a daily basis, based on customer expectations, future market demands and the concrete possibility of reducing the environmental impacts resulting from their use. This is accompanied by the work of Iterchimica's four internal laboratories which support the research of new products and the monitoring of the related chemical characteristics in order to guarantee the proposal of safe solutions for the end user and for the environment. Laboratory and research and development activities are also monitored through the development of internal KPIs which concern, for example, the number of research carried out for the development of new products and the percentage breakdown of the type of analyzes conducted.
