System for the modification of asphalt mixes with high percentages of RAP - CHS Plast Eco

The innovative CHSPlastEco is a two-component system designed to increase the performance of asphalt mixes containing high percentages of RAP (greater than 40%) and improve their durability. Thanks to the combination of a polymeric component based on specifically recycled polyolefins (PSV – Plastic Second Life - certified) and one consisting of an amino-derivative mixture, CHSPlastEco guarantees an improvement in mechanical performance and acts as an antioxidant, slowing down the ageing process of the total bitumen. Its use rejuvenates aged bitumen deriving from reclaimed asphalt pavements, reducing the consumption of aggregates and bitumen of first use.

Moreover, it acts as an antistripping agent, improving and ensuring the workability of the asphalt mix even at low ambient temperatures (below 0°C). Its use is also particularly suitable for long-distance transport, guaranteeing workability and laying. PSV (Plastic Second Life) certified.
